Hi there,
Is there a way of dynamically spawning multiple independent HTTP requests from within a Filter class? I need to spawn content for two different frame as part of the pre-processing of a single request action.
In short, given a request directed to frame A, I need to populate frame B with some dynamic data at the same time.
I would prefer to do this without loading an HTML or JSP file containing frameset attributes as this would complicate maintenance for the end users.
Thanks,
Darryl

Hi there,
I withdraw my question. After thinking about it a bit, I've come to think that I have to return a frameset to the client browser that contains the information needed to refresh the two frames. If I try to spawn two responses for a single request on the server, I don't see how the client would know to catch the two responses. Frame requests have to originate from the client I now see.
Cheers and thanks,
Darryl
