  • you might be a Redneck if your golf cart is gas powered...
  • you might be a Redneck if you shoot your gun at your exgirlfriend's house after a night of drinking beer...

To be entirely fair, lots of golf carts are gasoline powered, there just aren't many running around with bored out 454s!

true, i posted that last night after 4 hours of hardcore cramming... i haven't seen any gas-powered golf carts at the club, but i think we have a regulation against speeds in excess of 1 mph.
i just couldn't help but picture some guy named "Bubba" with a greasy t-shirt, cut-off jeans, a Redman hat, case of empty Budwieser cans and a sawed-off 12 guage shot gun crusing in his jacked-up Ford golf cart complete with trailer hitch, gun rack, light bar and mud-tires...
( this post is in no way intended to offend any one named "bubba", or any person who happens to have a golf cart such as the one i have described above )

Why not?
I couldn't help but think of the phrase "Stranger than fiction."
I saw Wag The Dog on DVD about two weeks ago. Wag the Dog came out during the time of Clinton's Sexgate deal. The director and writer both said there was no way they could've come up with stuff like that. No body would've believed them.

just being a smart a**...
as for Wag the Dog, i was a direct recipient of Bill Clinton's own Wag the Dog during the Monica scandal.
i was in the Navy during that time, and my group ( 3 ships ) were supposed to go to the Arabian Gulf for a regular 6 month deployment. we were sent 2 weeks early (on 3 days notice) because Saddam kicked the UN Weapons Inspectors out...
6,000 people had to cancel family vacations because the 2 weeks prior to deployment is when we spend time with our families before we leave for 6 months...
we got a bunch of news coverage the days before we left, which was strange becuase ships are always leaving port in San Diego... it is not a big deal. we left on a saturday morning...
the thing that bugged me before i found out what happened is that our "sister" group was already in the Gulf... if it was such a big deal, they could have stayed an extra 2 weeks and taken care of Saddam... why send us early?
guess what came out in the news that monday... you guessed it, Monica!
we had to skip every port visit on the way, and sailed directly to Kuwait in 32 days... no stops. the day we got there they "called off the attack." when i got back to the US and saw Wag the Dog, i just laughed because that crap really happens, and i happened to ME!

hey joel, no offense intended... i am from Georgia and most of my dad's family still live on the SAME street together... and, yes... those empty cans do make good skeet!
the way i see it, if you can't make fun of yourself, who can you make fun of?
