I config my web application to be the default web application so, I can use the domain name(without path) to access my web application, but how to config the
server web.xml or my web.xml to map the empty servlet path(because the url containes no path) to my servlet.By the way I can't use the welcome-file-list.
Thanks!

I think what you should look at is the way the default servlet is mapped to "/" in web.xml (at least in Tomcat 4.24). Seems to me you want to substitute your servlet class as the default servlet.
