Hi all
I'm Looking for an affordable webhost for my web application which supports TCP, UDP connections.
I noticed that several hosts are not supporting it (no open ports) like uniqhost.com and when I asked others they don't know what I mean like lunarpages.com.
So if someone knows a good host please provide some links.
P S : I need TCP/UDP connection to implement HTTP Tunneling application using servlets
Thanks in advance
Alexan

Every http request is handled via connection. This connection is based on the TCP/IP protocol(like the whole Internet). TCP and UDP are only the transport layers used to transfer the datagrams between to hosts. So every provider offers TCP connections. The other thing is that a lot of providers only provide the common ports like http(80), https(443) etc. But this is not a question of TCP, it is a question of firewall configuration and has nothing to do with the transport layer

Thank you oliver for your reply
So the problem is that I want to connect via sockets on ports other than 80 and 443 and most hosting companies are blocking these ports to avoid hackers problems.
so if anybody using a host with similar purpose maybe can provide links.
Thanks
Alexan
