I have a web application that uses cookies for session management. cookies are disabled in the browser where the application in accessed. What will happen, an error will occur or the page will be displayed successfully when the user will access a page using cookies in a browser with disabled cookies.

Why don't you go and disable the cookies and goto the page and find out? That is the easiest and best way to see what happens.
You will see fist hand that there is no way to track a person with the cookies on their browser. Whenever you try to find the cookie it will not and you code will do whatever it is told when the cookie is not there.
