i registered a domain name a few months ago in preparation for my graduation and sun microsystems java certification. i just received an email asking if the domain name is for sale.
what is a reasonable price for a domain name? it's not like the domain is "ibm.com", so i know i am not going to get $1 million for it...
also, i am leaving the name out just incase the person making the offer is on this site!

Ill give ya $5 for it.
But seroiusly the site is worth whatever you think it is. I mean if you think its worth $100 or $10000 then ask what you would be willing to let go of it for. I doubt whether this is of vital importance to you, so make an offer that you will be happy with. If it sells then cool, if not then no sweat.

I would say that ofcourse it is for sale. Tell them that You already had couple of offers but that domain name is so close to your heart and You just couldn't sell it. Then ask them to make an offer to you and wait.

$5... SOLD!!! andy, just send me a signed blank check and i will take care of the paperwork.
yea, i do not really care about the domain name. i just made it up because the one i really wanted was already taken. i do not plan on getting rich on this, but i do not want to cheat myself... i would hate to sell it for $100 when they would have paid $1,000!
i think i will just pretend i am not interested and see if they keep biting. if not, then i still have my name.

There’s no place like 127.0.0.1. But I'll always remember this tiny ad:
