You probably will move this to a different forum (which is fine, as I just need an answer). A friend has a servlet running on a UNIX Server - he creates a report in HTML format. However, he wants to produce the page in LANDSCAPE (not Portrait) orientation.
I researched JDSE 1.4.2....there is a PageAttributes class - but it is under the java.awt package. Can this class be used for this?

No luck,
the app that prints the HTML (assuming you access the servlet via a browser)
decides about landscape / portrait and all the print options.
There is (thank god) no way, the HTML can set printer options in your browser.
Would be nice though - if you happen to be a worm author. Imagine a worm that prints 999 sheets of the worm author's message on all network printers it can access.
Cute
J.
