Hi,
I passed SCJP1.4 exam december 03. I am looking for jobs and i get a common question. do you know Servlets, JSP, J2EE ?
I plan to first start reading about servlets.
I want to know which book is good for servlets.
Thanks,
vidya

I'm sure there are a lot of good books - many probably reviewed in the bunkhouse...two that I've looked at and found to be quite readable are
  • Java Servlet Programming by Jason Hunter, and
  • Core Servlets and Java Server Pages (JSP) by Marty Hall

  • Hope this helps

Ditto on Marty Hall's book. I have a copy and was impressed with the way information was presented. It's a very good book for teaching what you need to know, and it has examples for 3 different freely available servlet containers.

I think a good starter book is JSP Examples and Best Practices by Patzer (Apress).
Then move on to Bergsten's JavaServer Pages (O'Reilly).
    Other books in my library:
    o The Struts Framework (Spielman)
    o (Free) Building Web Components
