Hi,
i have a HTML/JS form in which the output is a window (named mywin). the contents of this window is a set of XML tags and it looks like:
<choice>
<pic>D:\abc.jpg</pic>
</choice>

now in the form, as soon as the user clicks on the submit button i want to use a servlet present on a server that interprets this window and extracts the abc.jpg file and perfrom some sort of processing on it.
how can i acheive such an functionality? any useful link with some sample code will help me a lot.
thanks in advance

You can use any Upload APIs available free on internet to upload that gif on the server and then do the desired processing.

There are different Upload APIs freely available like:

Orielly's Upload API at http://www.servlets.com/cos/index.html
Jakarta's Upload API at http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/fileupload/index.html
