Hi all.
how to encode a url so it takes the syntax :
%20%34?%qw%23% // some thing like this
then how to decode it again ?

You can encode URL using response.encodeURL(String url);

Thanks, but I don't think so.
response.encodeURL( ) will encode the url to incude the session id ...

Hi all.
how to encode a url so it takes the syntax :
%20%34?%qw%23% // some thing like this


When we use a get method and pass different parameters then a long text which contains different characters is converted in this type of code. These are basically codes for characters %20 is for space character. It is automatically converted into these codes. No need to encode the URL.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
