Servlets Vs Java Bean

Hi

I want to know the major and minor differences (atleast 10) between servlets and java bean.

Thats the silliest question I ever heard (well recently anyway) :roll:

you can't grind servlets into ground Java
you can't run beans into the ground

that would cover the major differences.

Rakesh,
One of main difference is

Java Beans will be used in modelling your data (like carrying data from databsae to your view). -- Mainly act as transport agent from one component to another.

While servlet control your request from your view - Mainly act as controller.

Then the interviewer doesn't know enough to be conducting technical interviews. I agree with Bill, this question is just absurd (especially the at least 10 part).

Got to agree. Either the interviewer was completely clueless, or was trying to find out if you were. It's like asking to list 10 ways an exhaust manifold is different from a carburator. Both go into the same engine, but it makes no sense to compare them.
