Hi all,

I am new to server-side programming. I want to buy one or two good books on Java Servlet and JSP programming. Based on some search, I found the following books very popular:

-Java Servlet Programming, 2nd Edition , by Jason Hunter, O'Reilly
-Core Servlet and JSP by Marthy Hall
-More Servlet and JSP by Marthy Hall

I'm not sure if they cover the same material. Do I need to have both? Which one you would you recommend.

Thanks.

Jim

Get both. They complement each other. OTOH, you can download coreservlets from www.coreservlets.com

I, and most of my colleagues use core servlets, more servlets, and Jason Hunter's Java Servlet Programming.
