thank you to all as i have installed upwith the server.

now as i m trying to compile my java file , it include

import javax.servlet.http.*;
import javax.servlet.*;

it is giving the error that above package does not exist.

add j2ee.jar to your classpath. If you've not installed the J2EE SDK download and install it first, it also contains your documentation.

hi i dont what server you are using ....

if u r using j2ee server in the installed path you can find the lib/j2ee.jar

give the clappath for this jar and you can compile the servlet

let me know if it is work
