Hi all,
I have a fairly general question,i have a program running successfully(in jbuilder) which takes in an argument, the program parses from websites and pulls back their results for the argument thats been entered.
My problem is that i want this program to work on a webpage. i need to be able to enter the argument via a form, and display the results on a webpage. Many people i hav talked to hav suggested different approaches; jsp pages, servlets, beans. i decided to come here for a more clear answer.

I am new to these forums and i apologise for my ignorance if im in the wrong place.

All help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks
Don

Servlets or JSP work. I think JSP would be the simplest way, create your Java Object then call the method. But you would want the results to come back in HTML.

Take a look at SimpleMVC at http://simple.souther.us
It's a very basic implementation of the MVC design pattern for servlet/jsp apps.

It sounds like you could easily swap the bean that's in there with your java class and have it running in a short amount of time.
