Hi,
I have a image file(.jpg) in my local C: directory. Can I read that file inside the servlet for printing.

Thanks
Raja

When you say "local" do you mean local to your server where your app is or local to your client's machine?

No.

Browsers do not allow a webpage access to local files.
To do so would create a huge security hole.
The only exception to this is the "FILE" input type widget, in which the user has to explicitly select a file off of the machine for uploading.
