how to display calender in jsp for jsp 1.2

can any one give me hint how to display calendar (not simple date) in tabular format

How would you display it in HTML?

it is like this

but not JavaScript but i have to use jsp 1.2

Ok. Now where is the problem. You can render the same html from your JSP. But as we know JSP is a server-side technology, unlike javascript, that means it requires a server call in order to take any action. For example if you change the month from the listbox it will submit that to server and gets the month map from server.

Are you getting me?

hi adeel
i will tell you my problem in more detail
i am working on leave management System

when user logs in the system i have to provide facility
from which he can see how many people are on leave from his team
if any one from the user who logs in is on leave then calender that date must be marked red with the person who is on leave

and i think in jsp1.2 we can not use jsp useBean hence only option in front of me is using Scripting
i will show you more specific page which uses
script (uses cookies)

but i don't wants to use script
