Hi,

I am attempting to protect some resources. Requesting a protected resource when not logged in does the following:

1. saved the current "orignal" request.
2. forwards to a login url

3. user types in correct username and password
4. login is process and found to be valid
5. finds saved request so replaces current request with saved "original" request"
6. sounds good in theory, but when implemented I still end up with my login url, not my "original" request

Side questions. request.getRequestPath() shows me http://localhost/login instead of http://localhost/original_request. Where in the request object is "/login" stored.. Been trying to find to see if manual update during debug sends me to original_request.

Thanks for the info,

jb

Save the original url in session.

Every hit to the server will generate a NEW request object.
