Mapping an image in Web.xml?

Hi all

Is it possible to map a url to an image in web.xml? For example if I had an image file stored it in the webApp\images dir and changed its ext from .jpg to .abc could I some how have an HTML page display that image, without renaming the image file by mapping it some way in the web.xml?
