hi ur previous suggestions were useful.now if i need to pass 2 parameters to a servlet through a url (we generally pass 1 paramter along with the url of servlet with a question mark)like this....

ur1=new URL("http://localhost:7001/MyWebApp/F1?inputfilename=ip");

now if twoparamters are to be passed how to do that?

Any subsequent parameter is appended by an ampersand character (&) , so the URL would be

... ?param1=value1¶m2=value2
