Each volume begins with the same set of dedications: to Osama Bin Laden, who "took part in jehad with his life and money in Afghanistan... He is the one who is still inducing the young Mujahideen for jehad." Other dedications are to Abdullah Azzam, an Egyptian who was killed during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan, and to the leaders of the Islamic Jehad in Afghanistan, to those who produced and translated the training manuals;and finally, to the people and government of Pakistan. Pakistan, which has allied itself with the US in the confrontation over Bin Laden, is described as having given permission to "use their territory despite immense pressure from our enemies." The dedication adds, "we pray God to save Pakistan from any unforeseen danger."
I know what the unforseen danger is. One day they are going to push their luck too far. [This message has been edited by Sahir Shibley (edited October 02, 2001).]
