Dan,
It's all good man. If you dont mind me asking, how are you feeling about all the stuff that has happened? It must be a rollercoaster of emotions. I know it has been for me. I think I have gone all over with how I feel, and I still dont know how to feel or what to make of it. Just so you know, as your next door neighbour to the north we support you 100%!!

Thanks, eh
I had just had my dog put to sleep 6 weeks before, and I was just starting to recoup from that. Then Sept 11 was like being checked by 3 Canadians.
It took me a few days to accept it happened. Then I just knew how everything was going to change. Like a paradigm shift. It is effecting the entire global economy. Its pretty hard to stop terrorism and have all the freedoms we do. I think we are just going to have to live with it like many other countries have had to.
Since I was in such a funk for two weeks after, I pulled out some old computer games and have been staying up all night playing them. Gotta admit it helped.
Next I think I am going to visit Montreal ( I live in Phila, PA). Its something I have been meaning to do, and I figure it should help lift my spirits ( and maybe help the canadian economy, eh).
Thanks for all the Support from up NORTH
Dan

Dan,
sorry to hear about your Dog. Man that must be heart wrenching. . BTW What games were you playing all night? I started to play NHL 2001. Just something to keep busy with and sane..sort off
If you are heading to Montreal make sure you eat some Poutine. It is the greatest thing invented since sliced bread. If you head down there you will have a great time. Make sure to hit St Catherines Street. You will find most of the shopping, entertainment, and night life in that area.
Whatever you do please dont not support my archrivals the Montreal Canadiens. I may not talk to you if you go to one of their games unless they are playing Calgary
If you dont mind me asking how old are you Dan?
Cheers
Faisal

What...you don't talk to old fogies? 42
One game is Redneck Rampage... I am waiting for Takeda to come out. They said it should be out sometime this month. Its a war Strategy ... Japan near 1400 timeframe...where you can move troops etc ...graphics looked cool.
Don't worry...I haven't really favored any team since 1976 Broad Street Bullies (Flyers) had to learn to skate. They spent more time in the penalty box than the ice.
Thanks for the recommendations on where to go !!

HAHA...Oh dont get me wrong I was just curious
Redneck rampage was fairly amusing. I got a kick out of that one when I got a chance to play it. I ended up being addicted to Half-Life, worms, and the NHL games. Which reminds me I should format my computer and install win 98. Stupid win ME is messing things up all the time.
You going to check out any flyer games this season? I am hitting the Oilers and Flames tonite...Should be fun!

No just televised these days. Its too much of a hassle now from where I live ( was in Phila...now outskirts ). I've actually stopped getting so involved in sports. I would get too emotional, and be real angry when they would lose in the playoffs. Especially true for Eagles. I won't watch any of their games any more because of it.
Enjoy the game.

Ha, I know what you mean - watching the Browns game on sunday my daughter said I scared her when I yelled a few times. She was sitting beside me at the time
She wanted to know why I didn't yell during baseball games becasue baseball and football are both sports - gotta give her a break, she's only 8. I explained to her that football is more exciting, the comparable thing in baseball would be if the 2nd baseman was allowed to tackle someone stealing 2nd.... That would be cool to see!!!
