Hello,

Is there a way to intercept and change a URL before it gets to Servlet? I want to make changes to it before Tomcat maps it to Context/Servlet.

URL rewriting sounds like the right thing, but all resources only talk about tracking sessions using it.

Should I use a filter? It seems there are no methods for changing the request URL... Any info is appreciated. Please help.
