Sai, a good place to start is to get a servlet/JSP tutorial. Please search this forum or the web.

Hi,

Could you please make it more clear. I am assuming it to be a ServletContext and you could use <context-param> </context-param> in the web.xml to specify the parameters and access it from anywhere in the web container. If the parameter needs to be a object we have to implement ServletContextListener and also specify it as a Listener in the web.xml.
