Hi there!
to fill the home page, wich has a kind of contents preview, I'm using a front controller. wich includes in its response attributes set by other servlets.

Initially, when it was including only one attribute from another servlet it worked fine, it started to give me this error only when I tryed to add another attribute from another servlet.

This is the error message:
GRAVE: Path does not start with a "/" characterCAUSE: null
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Path does not start with a "/" character

refering to this code

The error indicates the path in bold, but to me it is fine, it starts with a slash. So, what's the problem?

I think to have found the solution by my self.

The response was committed by the second servlet called, wich didn't find a valid destination path.

I've forgotten to put something like && !destination.equals("") before to forward the response.

Thanks anyway
