"registration hi",

You've already been warned to change your display name to adhere to JavaRanch standards.

Your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Be advised that accounts with invalid display names are removed.

"suresh",

Thanks for changing your display name, but it is still not valid. Please read Bear's request more closely.

This is your final warning

thanks,
Dave

Hi,

First of all, Both Generic Servlet and HttpServlet are abstract.

GenericServlet has service() for servicing client requests but in HttpServlet we have Http methods like post and get to service the clients.

GenericServlet is used for generic protocols and HttpServlet is used specially for Http Protocols.

Thanks,
