God bless the hypocrits that type in English in a forum about an American made product (Java) probably using their IBM laptop powered by an Intel or AMD processor browsing the web with IE or Netscape drinking a coke or pepsi.
Should I go on!
And some posts say Americans are ignorant.

It's great that we have this wonderful opportunity to share our opinion with people from all around the world - as long as we want to hear and understand each other. Which implies a certain degree of sympathy. But it's enough for somebody to post a hostile message to hurt certain group of people and provoke equally or even more hostile responses. Then another group of people feels offended and the process is repeated...
Anyone wants to be first to stop?

Americans invent new words (like "hypocrits") when they can't spell existing words right.

Hyper Critter,
Did you look that up in your Merriam-Webster dictionary?
Thanks for the correction but not the sardonic reply.

Well over in this thread "hypocrates" seems to be the accepted spelling . We're getting closer at least...

My thoughts exactly. I'm not ashamed to say that Meaningless Drivel used to be my favorite place on the net. But all this bickering is extremely disheartening, and more importantly, useless. I worry as much about this crisis as anyone else and I certainly believe it's good to talk about it. But people just seem to be shouting at each other like children. All of a sudden the board (not this thread) seems to be full of postings that say things like "you're an idiot", "what you say is bulls***", "you're so stupid" etc., etc. I can understand that everyone feels angry and frustrated but do we really have to stoop to this level?
I've become afraid to post anything here because anything you say can and will be used against you!

Come on people ... don't take the bait of a few rabble-rousers...India and the U.S share a great and an Improving relationship these days which is further intensified by the anti-terrorism drive. In the past few days...browsing through "meaningless drivel" has become akin to snorkeling in sewage. Let's change course and head toward something constructive.

And more...
Being beset by terrorism ourselves, as Indians, we must support the ones that are affected by terrorism. The lives of a lot of people have been lost and this is an irrepairable damage. One has to understand that anyone under these circumstances cannot take any form of criticism let alone constructive. My heart goes out to the bereaved families of the innocents that were murdered on black tuesday.
So, let's put a lid on the nonsensicals and stand by the Americans in their war against terrorism. I am really happy that the Indian Government has offered unconditional support to the U.S to counter terrorism.
