Forwarding responses to frames

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,

I'm making an application which must use frames. I have a horizontal "top" frame, a left side "menu" frame and then the "main" target frame.

This project requires that I have forms that post to servlets in both the top horizontal frame and the left side menu frame. The problem is that the user wants the results to show up in the main target frame.

Is it possible to forward the response back to a different frame like this?

Thanks for any help and suggestions!
Jason

No. The response will always appear in the window or frame that the request was submitted into.

I didn't think so, I guess I'll have to redesign the layout a bit then!

Thanks for your help yet again Bear!!

I must be misunderstanding the problem.
Can't you use the html TARGET attribute of a link, or a form ?

(If you meant that you want a single request to post simultaneously to two different frames, then forget about this)
