ahh, Thailand... i did not hike the jungles, but i spent some well deserved time on the beaches of Phuket (south-west thailand).
however, i must say the best so far has been Maui, Hawaii.
snorkeling in Aqaba, Jordan was incredible (Red Sea, best diving in the world).

Trekking in the Himalayas with a gang of 15 friends. Started trekking from the Buddhist town of McLeodganj in Northern India. Took us around 3 days to get to the Final Destination which is a scenic Glacier. Far from anything related to Civilization , that was heaven on earth. No Shops, No roads, no houses. Just Splendid.
Would love to go to Chile , Bolivia and Peru some day soon. Any thoughts ??

Id have to say that i loved Jamaica. What an awesome country. Id love to live in a hotel there forever. The locals are so nice(hung out with some of them and they truly know something that most of us dont when it comes to being happy even though they are butt poor).
The beaches, the food, the fishing, and other recreational activities...mmmmm

My favorite vacation was Paris, too, Jason... though personally I just don't get why the French have this reputation you're talking about... I'm not saying they were overly friendly, but I wasn't treated any more rudely than anywhere else... in fact, I've regularly been treated much worse in America...

The French are noted for being rather rude and abrasive to outsiders. ESPECIALLY if they do not speak perfect French.

Some People In Quebec(French Speaking Canada) are vey much like that. Its really frustrating. I would never be rude to anyone who didnt speak perfect english, but some of those people are so RUDE!!!
I worked as a Club DJ in a predominantly French speaking area..It was a pain at times dealing with rude people.

Bets vacationing spots are in Mexico:
1. Cancun - best night life(if you're not married just yet and you know how to say hi to a girl, this is a place for you.)
2. Acapulk - not sure about the spelling though; also fantastic.
3. And the winner is - Bora-Bora. Simply the best(a little expensive though).

Personally, I like to go on cruises...you get to see mulitple places, and you don't have to worry about unpacking and packing but once. However, I must stress the importance of NOT getting drunk at one of the ports of call, passing out, and missing the ship leaving. It is a major hassle to get to the next port before the ship leaves again. <GRIN>
