using servlets how can i set the content into excel sheets.i want to set the content into two wroksheets in the same excel?

I don't think that this has something to do with servlets.
You should search about the POI library at Jakarta:
http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/index.html

Use jexcel. Its much better than POI. You can find jexcel at Andy Khans's JExcel.

Another possibility is to use xml spreadsheet:

This is a xml format created by microsoft that describe a excel sheet and can be open and saved by excell.

to send back an excel file *.xls or a spreadsheet *.xml from a servlet

if content is a byte[] with your excell file just push it
