Hi,
I am a beginner in
java
servlet
. I want to know how to process a request which has a "Expect: 100-Continue" header in my servlet. I am using
JBoss
3.2.7 as my app server.
Thanks,
JH

I see. So it is up to
tomcat
config which is embedded in jboss. Any idea how that works?

You would need to dig into the interal code for Tomcat.
An application developer shouldn't normally need to concern him/herself with the low level details of the HTTP protocol.
Out of curiosity, why do you ask?
Are you building a custom client?

Thanks.
Yes, I am trying to build a custom client as a prototype.

One way to stop the chunking is to send a request with HTTP/1.0 instead of HTTP/1.1.
I ran into this issue while working with Apache Axis for C++.
At the time, Axis (client end) wasn't dealing well with the chunking.
