Hi,
I am wondering, what are filters best to use?

Are you talking about Servlet Filters?

If so, they're great for doing processing that must be completed, repeatedly, before a Servlet is invoked, or after a Servlet is invoked. That could mean session checking, form validation, logging, or even performance evaluation.

There are a multitude of reasons.

Cheers!
