hmmm, i would like to see where you got your information.
i was in the Navy doing a technical job... a lot of us (electronics people) were learning programming languages (c, c++) to pass the time on the ship. i am sure a bunch of the FC's (the guys that launch Tomahawks), EW's (what i did) and CT's (crypto techs) are learning Java.

In the Marine Corps most of us just drink it, in fact that's how we get by most of the time - caffine and nicotine!!
I'm probably one of the exceptions I get to code it too

That is a complete revelation to me that you think that technical/electrothecnical or even marine people make decisions of starting a war!

I thought that it is run-time JVM that gives exceptions but not compiler.

oh, i am sorry... i could not understand your original post.
you are right, the people that decided to start the bombing of Afghanistan do not write Java programs... or C++ programs... or C# programs. they are too busy hiding bin Laden. yes, i mean the Taliban.

Andy,
I am very flattered and worried that you are currently spending all the day just because of one broken phrase. I hope that, at least at night, you change the orientation of your activity

You showed up just in time for the waffles! And this tiny ad:
