regarding sessiontimeouts when powerfailure happens

i am facing some problem in updating the sessiontimeout when power failure happens.....

What do you mean by updating the sessiontimeout ?

Does your system have any provision for orderly shutdown when power fails?

If a servlet container gets a chance to shutdown it may (depending on the server) be able to serialize all sessions and pick them back up again on restart.

If the computer just stops, there is no telling what condition the sessions are likely to end up in.
