hi,

is there any site that allows us to host our servlet and jsp programs for free. i have got a servlet project i thought of hosting in the net. if someone give the details.

You may visit http://www.myjavaserver.com/.

But you have to modify the servlet code a little (to be compatible with their deployment environment). The instructions for modification are provided.

To my knowledge there are no sites that offer servlet hosting for free. The Servlets FAQ lists a number of hosting providers that offer it starting at around $5 per month.

I think some sites offer free hosting of CGi scripts, so if you use CGI-servlet bridge...

We could host your servlet for free if it will generate traffic to our web site, so it's sort of free. What else do you need, like database, backup procedure ?
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
