You will find a link to the Servlet Specification in the Servlets FAQ.

If you're new to Servlets and JSPs, you'll definitely want to pick up the Head First Servlet and JSPs book. It really is the best - just check out the reviews on amazon.com

Head First Servlets and JSP: Passing the Sun Certified Web Component Developer Exam (SCWCD)

If you want to improve your Java knowledge as well, pick up the Head First Java. These books look great together.

Head First Java by Kathy Sierra, Bert Bates

Another good book that's a great reference is Cor Servlets and JavaServer Pages. It goes a bit more in depth than Head First, and might just fill in any gaps, especially considering what you're requesting:

Core Servlets and JavaServer Pages, Vol. 1: Core Technologies by Marty Hall, Larry Brown

I've also got a few multimedia tutorials on my website if you're interested. Check out my signature links.

Cheers!
