Could any one please help to understand how load balancing will be done in Servlets? for Example if servlet can take 100 request at time if one more request comes to that servlet how the load balancing will be done??

Hey Raj,

I don't think that a servlet does load balancing on its own, untill specifically programmed to do so. However some of the servlet containers do load balancing and even this is configurable to a great extent.

Its the way you deploy the servlet. If you deploy your servlet application is a cluster , then there has to be a load balancer which would take care of balancing the load by directing the requests to servlets at various nodes.
