how to send a data in variable messageid to the servlet when the link is clicked.
I have used

<a href="./surveyquestion?messageid=arr[<%=i%>][1]><%=request.getAttribute("arr["+i+"]["+j+"]")%></a>

But Iam not getting it
is there any other way to send the data in variables to the servlet?

<a href="./surveyquestion?messageid=<%=arr[i][1]%><%=request.getAttribute("arr["+i+"]["+j+"]")%></a>

and just conform with request.getAttribute(String); string variable you have to give..
i mean first write it in java format and then write in jsp whenever you want to use scriptlets

Sine you re-asked the question elsewhere, and which has been answered, this topic is closed.
