Hai Friends,

I have understood the servlet tunnelling as follow, please correct me if iam wrong.

In which some other protocol requestis converted to HTTP protocol request and vice versa.

For Example in weblogic 8.1, for jndi look up we can use prefix the URL with TS as well as Http.

If we used TS as prefix, i think weblogic initial context factory converts this TS request to HTTP request. So now a servlet can process this request.

In both end (client side and server side) again this request/response needs to be converted into original request/response(jndi protocol).

We use Http instead of JNDI protocol because most companies block other protocol for security reason. Here we need HttpServlet Tunnelling.

This what i perceived. Please correct me, wherever i made mistakes.
