This week's book giveaway is in the Testing forum. We're giving away four copies of The Way of the Web Tester: A Beginner's Guide to Automating Tests and have Jonathan Rasmusson on-line! See this thread for details.
I have a form that sends post data to a servlet. From this servlet I need to forward the information to a php file that accepts and processes the data in the background, then sends a reply back to the servlet that I can then send to the user. The main reason for this is because the user cannot send data to the php file directly. This works fine when attachments aren't necessary as I can just place it in the URL, but I need to be able to upload files as well. I have tried a number of different small solutions, but I haven't found anything that works the way I need it to, since the user cannot see the accepting php.
This code is used at a commercial company so it limits some of the code resources I can use out there as well.
