hi all,

I am newbie to Servlets ... I am trying to find the material which

explains about

How the container behaves when some request comes ... in the sense
how if doget() method which i wrote for my own servlet, goes through
the steps ... like service() method of HttpServlet class calling overriden doget()method( in subclass)

And also about the api s which involved in this process..

I anyone provide me the link to the material ie is enough for me to refer..

Thanks ,
Vinay Rajnish

There is a link to the servlet spec in my signature.
It answers all of your questions.
