Http method's Target Resource type

Hello,

Http Post mehtod's target resource type is always - Active while that of the Get is Active/Passive. What does it mean about Target resource type.

any one pls explain, I found this in Hanumanth desia's SCWCD study kit in "Table 4.1: Comparison of GET and POST methods"


Feature GET Method POST Method
Target resource type Active or passive. Active.

In a nutshell, a get request shouldn't change the state of the application.
It shouldn't update or delete anything from a database.
