Hi All,

I have a general question, and this is about the web container.

I just wanted to know where does the web container store the request

attributes. Does the container has the request attribute in the HTTP

packet or does it have it in the web server memory. If it is in the web

server where doed it store? Does the server has a database or some sort of

storage mechanisms.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure why you need to kniow this. But, the attributes will be stored in a structure like a map.

Scoped variables, what you are calling attributes, stay on the server so they are never included as part of the HTTP stream.

The containers are free to implement them as they please, as long as the follow the behavior laid out by the specifications.

Developer doesn't need to know it. container may take any approach. As Bosun
said container may store it in some datastructure like map. They are not stored in database.
