I'd rather travel on something with 4 wheels with a dome on top ,for shelter, and accelerate up to 80 MPH on a flat surface...I think that would be a perfect invention.

And a device in the back designed to store packages etc. And 4 or 5 person seating. And safety devices that can hold you in place in the event of an accident. And a cigarette lighter.
