Seymour,
The characters about whom Ken and Amy discuss here are the uneducated cook and the watchman. It is naive on their part to generalize an entire nation to be a reflection of those few individuals they came across.
But the sad part is that there are still low-income groups that behave in the way Ken and Amy have said. But, then again, generalizing is pretty absurd.
On the other hand, if this is the way Ken feels about India and Indians in general, he shouldn't be in India in the first place and more importantly, he shouldn't be hiring Indians. Why not try "non-fawning" non-Indians.
And as far as you are concerned, posting that link to portray Indians in general is SICK. Equally sick is someone called "Ganges" trying to exhume dead and buried s***. That post was posted long back and Jason had apologized for making that comment.
Let this be the last post in this thread. Let's concentrate on cracking Angela's puzzles and Jason's cryptogram instead

from an objectivity perspective , i am not a person who comments on what people feel , but i can only point to people's thought's and expressions and i neither subscribe to their thoughts nor do i try to sell them .
I didn't post the link to portray Indians , but as a link to a log that is ongoing about someone in "consulting" residing in india ...now it was your thought that i was using that link to portray indians in general ( your perspective - i should stop using eclipse , the word perspective is getting to me ), i dont classify people by color , sex ....yawn ...but it is interesting to see what people think about other people , all said and done one cannot change others perception on any of their personal views and what they relate to ..
Yo excalibur , check this blog as well http://madman.weblogs.com/2001/11/27 , now pls dont complain about the links i post , i dont subscribe to their thoughts ( even if they were free ) i wouldn't mind assimilating thoughts though .
Call me old school when i quote Jiddu - "Clarity can exist only when there is freedom to observe, when one is capable of looking, observing, watching. That is only possible when there is complete, total freedom, otherwise there is always distortion in our observation." @ http://www.kfa.org/
