uploading servlet

hi,
i have problem regarding UploadFile Servlet
It is running successfully on my local machine.
But when i come across the network and want to upload the
file from clint machine it througing exception
:java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Not writable: /home/cyansoft/public_html//data
i am using the of com.oreilly.servlet.MultipartRequest package.
i am using the url:
URLwebTempPath = getServletContext( ).getRealPath("/")+"/" +"data";
and using MultipartRequest mpr = new MultipartRequest(
request,webTempPath,10 * 1024 * 1024);
to upload the file.
Will someone help me why it is not working from client machnie.

Sounds like a permissions error to me.
Verify that the user under which your container is running has permissions to write to that directory.
