Hi All

I'm new to Java World. Sorry if i'm asking somthing wrong.

I'm asked to write a Servlet program for all web applications deployed on Apache-Tomcat which will give analysis just like web mining.

Can anybody suggest how can i write a single servlet which will keep a track of all requests for all deployed applications

Thanks
Saheb

Nothing wrong, but that's pretty vague. If you have specific questions, you've got a better shot at getting answers.

Also, please take the time to post more carefully. "wen mining"?

It sounds like you need to get up-to-speed with web applications and Servlets using a few less aggressive projects before tackling this one.

You can create a custom Tomcat Valve to intercept requests to all web applications. It should be specified in /conf/server.xml file and it looks like:

Here is an example of a custom valve.
