Hi,
when going to initialise the servlet I mean after deploying or after sending request ?

That is not correct.

Depending upon the entries in the deployment descriptor, and the whim of the container, servlets can be started up at the time that the context is initialized, or can wait until just before the request is processed.

The init is guaranteed to have been carried out prior to invoking any doWhatever() method of the servlet.

The Servlet Spec is really the best place to find the answers to this type of question.
