A bunch of our folk were published after they become bartenders or sherifs: Cindy Glass, Jane Griscti, Dr.Peter den Haan, Mapraputa Is, Ajith Kallambella, Sean MacLean (Sean, is Wrox's "Java Networking" your job?)
Another bunch of guys (mostly guys) already had something published by the time they were promoted to bartenders: Kyle Brown, Peter Haggar, Solveig Haugland and ... always forget... ah yes, Michael Ernest.
But all these individuals committed their works without asking JavaRanch permit or approval. Not fair. I think next JavaRanch writer should be appointed by you all. Who do you think deserve this title? Whom we should delegate?
