Are you sure you have the classpath exactly, and the third party .jars if you are using to the exact path location.

Don't do cross post as you already posted the same thing in the forum.
And as of your problem check the classpath and make sure that you have copied your JAR file to the proper directory. Check some documentation to clarify yourself with log4j which is available at apache's web site.
