Hi I am uploading files by using the library commons-fileupload.
Can you please suggest me how to store these uploaded filenames ( session tracking )sothat even if I not uploaded a file at that moment, by clicking the DOWNLOAD button, it has to display all the files, which I uploaded previously... sothat I can download anyone or all based on my selection.

So, do you want to store the file name in the session? Session's setAttribute() method will do this.

If I use HttpSession, then it will store the filename, upto that session only... am asking how to store the uploaded filenames permanently, once they uploaded into the server.

Sorry, I misunderstood - you mentioned session tracking, so I assumed you wanted to use the session to track stuff.

If you want a shared persistent store, you might consider a database.

You could use the file system too. Whichever suits your requirements better.
